If you’re experiencing issues with the product, this guide will help you diagnose and resolve common problems.
This guide applies to both Lite and Full versions of the Apex Legends product.

Common Issues

Possible causes:
  • Windows Defender is still active
  • Missing administrator privileges
  • Antivirus interference
Solutions:
  1. Verify Windows Defender is completely disabled using DControl
  2. Right-click the loader and select “Run as Administrator”
  3. Check for any antivirus software running in background
Possible causes:
  • NordVPN is not running
  • Game launched before the loader
  • Wrong display mode
  • Easy Anti-Cheat issues
Solutions:
  1. Ensure NordVPN application is open (not connected, just running)
  2. Close the game completely and restart following the correct launch sequence
  3. Set game display to Borderless Window mode
  4. Verify game files if EAC shows errors
This is caused by missing DirectX Web Kit.

Download DirectX Web Kit

Install the DirectX Web Kit to prevent BSOD errors.
After installing, restart your PC and try again.
Install all Visual C++ Redistributable versions and restart your PC.

Visual C++ All-in-One Package

Download and install all Visual C++ Redistributable versions at once.
After installing, restart your PC and try again.
Possible causes:
  • Missing runtime libraries
  • Corrupted game files
  • Conflicting software
Solutions:
  1. Reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable and DirectX
  2. Verify game files through Steam/Origin/EA App
  3. Close all unnecessary background applications
  4. Update your GPU drivers
Lite version not working:
  • Ensure you’re using the correct loader for the Lite version
  • Some features are intentionally disabled in Lite
Full version not working:
  • Verify your subscription is active
  • Re-download the loader from your account

If none of the above solutions work, you need to generate a diagnostic report.

Download the Diagnostic Tool

Download the diagnostic file from our resources section.
Only download files from official sources provided in your purchase confirmation.

Run the Diagnostic

  1. Close all game-related applications
  2. Run the diagnostic tool as Administrator
  3. Wait for the scan to complete

Take a Screenshot

Once the diagnostic is complete:
  1. Press Windows + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool
  2. Select the entire diagnostic window
  3. Save the screenshot

Submit a Support Ticket

Open a support ticket and include:
  • Your diagnostic screenshot
  • Description of the issue
  • Which version you’re using (Lite or Full)
  • Steps you’ve already tried
  • Your system specifications
